Hi, I’m LaShanda Batiste-Collins.

Many people face challenges like difficulty connecting with loved ones, coping with loss, or navigating the end of a relationship. If you're feeling like “You Are Not Enough,” struggling to be seen or heard, or finding life overwhelming, know that you're not alone. These emotions are a natural part of the human experience, and you don't have to face them by yourself. As a therapist, I’m here to support you in exploring and processing these feelings. Together, we can work towards understanding your emotions and creating a path forward—one that fosters healing, growth, and self-acceptance. You don’t have to stay stuck in these feelings. Let's take this journey towards clarity and connection, one step at a time.

Schedule a free 1:1 15-minute consult to see if we will work well together.

  • First and foremost, there's no need to feel nervous. We'll begin with a free consultation to assess your needs and determine if we're a good fit for working together. If we decide to proceed, my standard session rate is $120.00, though this may vary if you are utilizing out-of-network benefits.

  • I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana, Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS of Massachusetts. However, I will be an out-of-network provider for most other insurance plans.

If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Most insurance companies will reimburse a portion of my fee if you submit a superbill, which I will provide.

Please note that insurance companies typically only cover specific types of therapy and may require access to your private health information, including progress notes, goals, payment details, and session limits. Additionally, many clients have high-deductible plans, meaning you may need to pay out-of-pocket until the deductible is met.

Paying privately for therapy allows you more flexibility and control over your sessions, including the option for longer sessions, which can be beneficial for certain therapeutic approaches.

  • First Appointment: The initial session typically includes an assessment to gather information about your background, concerns, and therapy goals.

Discussion: You'll share your reasons for seeking therapy, any relevant mental health history, and the issues you wish to address.
